Regarding repeaters, there is a company in sim lim called r1 trading.. Any single band is selling at 730 before gst.. And singaporeans are not allowed to buy..sucks..think their rental is too high that is why selling at such price.

Get it from ebay, cheaper, etc and then use it here.

I am now very concern regarding the renewal of my state consent as my law firm is still waiting for UEM to renew the quit rent before they could renew my state consent(which has already expired). The law firm also said no problem in renewing.(I doubt how quick they can do it?=()

Hi everyone, I am a new member here. I heard of this site from a friend and would like to exchange info with all of you here.

I bought a semi d too @ phase 2 in 2010 and has encountered the same like mchia. My law firm is HH Long and they told me exactly what mchia had mentioned.
I am interested to know whether all my friends here plan to move in and stay there once the hse is ready or just for investment? How to do it if family has children who are still schooling, prepared to travel everyday in and out? Anyone here has already signed up for MM2H? Thanks:smile:

Those of you who have already received your State Consent, would you please share how long it took after filing. Mine was filed about a month back for East Ledang and no word from the authorities.

For Phase 2, I paid the levy to my lawyer on 27/8/2010 but I don't know when did the lawyer submit the request for State Consent.
Received the approval on 5/1/2011.
Thus for my case, it took around slightly more than 4 months from payment date to lawyer(not submission date from lawyer to Authority).
*I'm not sure whether or not it has expired as mentioned by mchia.

For Phase 7, I paid the levy to my lawyer on 23/10/2010.
18 months have passed already but still no news of State Consent.

I could get 3 Singtel bars in my rear balcony.. Not sure if a 3G boaster can work in such a distance? Will buy from eBay.. Just wonder if our custom will throw this away as these are radio transmission equipment?

Thats excellent coverage. Yes it can but you need to get the right one. Best if it does 900/1800 mhz.
I managed to buy a few for bros and myself recently. All using. Some have been using one for a long
time.

Anything past 6 months is considered long. You should check with the lawyer and ask for the date of submission.
Normally its about a year after state consent for the validity.

I would get together a few guys having the same problem (and the same lawyer) and send a formal letter (no emails) to them by registered
post.

The law firm handling my unit in EL Phase 8 is Tea, Kelvin Kang & Company. The following is the response from them today with regards the State Content:

I've just checked with my lawyer today and confirmed that my approved 'state consent' didn't expire. My bank has already disbursed the first progressive payment to UEM(banks won't disburse payment to developer if 'state consent' isn't approved).
