The presence of foreigners keep us in check. If our fellow Singaporean's productivity & efficiency level on-the-job is not up to mark as our foreign friends, who do you think the Company will choose for the job?
Be realistic, we are in a meritocracy society. Whoever can do the job better will get the salary, simple logic.
If we have no foreigners to boost our productivity level, do you think foreign investors will have the confidence to bring their biz here? Do you think we can arrive at where we are now?
