Singapore Oil Spill During Bunker Operation for Bulker
A survey of the area this morning showed no visible oil in the area. The MPA will investigate the incident.
And this is the properties of heavy bunker fuel:
The density of heavy fuel oil (HFO) is a maximum of 1010 kilograms per cubic meter (kg/m3)
They cannot find where 5 tonnes of bunker fuel went?
And they used dispersant to get rid of the oil slick? Do they think the oil magically disappears with dispersant? There is no known dispersant that will not kill marine life. It's been made illegal in many countries!
My gosh! The dereliction of duty here is criminal!!
