PAP only create jobs for foreigners and none for our young fresh graduates. Talk to any one of them today and and they will tell you they worry about getting a job after graduation. Many of the graduates are also taking on jobs that are not per their qualification so as to get an income.

They also overpay the civil service just to secure their junior staff positions and the private sector is forced to try to match these now excessively high junior pay creating further problems. Just follow young people that work for any branch of the government on social media and you will see that they are enjoying life going for holidays every other month.

I was recently told that LTA allows their employees to take 2 or 3 days sickies per year (ie self declared medical sickness without seeing a doctor and getting an MC). you know lah, definitely abused one. This is a standard HR policy for government staff now?
