A 13-year-old McCombs Middle School student has run foul of the law after allegedly biting 11 students, reports say.
The boy's antics first came to light after he was reported to teachers for biting a 13-year-old female student on the right hand at a sports carnival, the Des Monies Register says.
The student's Vice Principal investigated the incident and found that the boy had bitten 10 other students.
When contacted by police, the boy's father said that his son didn't intend to hurt anyone and that he was biting other students because of the movie " Twilight ."
The film ' Twilight ' is based on a series of novels about a teenage girl's love affair with a vampire.
The film has recorded more than $191 million US in box office receipts since its release.
The boy was given a delayed referral to juvenile court on an assault charge.
