Why still no action taken by our dear PAP-Gov? WTF is the Committee Against Profiteering (CAP) doing?

The fact that they had to set up a 'committee' for that tells you all that you need to know.

Too many daft Sinkies still believe in the benevolence of the PAP regime. Competence may be occasionally questioned, but benevolence is always held up as unshakable truth.

That has to change. See them for what they really are: oppressors and predators.

S$40M Yishun Kopitiam Buyer Says Prices Of Coffee & Cai Png Will Stay The Same

S$40M Yishun Kopitiam Buyer Won’t Raise Coffee & Cai Png Prices, But Rental Will Be Adjusted

When a neighbourhood kopitiam is bought over at high price, it might be bad news for residents.

Not only may their favourite stalls move out, but the remaining stalls may increase prices to cover their higher rental costs.

Realising this, the man who bought an Yishun kopitiam for the eye-watering sum of S$40 million has given them some assurance.

citizens cannot accept $7 set meal from ah Kun but happily accept millions dollar of minister pay ? Where is the logic
Dear Mei-mei, logic does not exist in an authoritarian cuntry like Sinkapore. What you will find is many conflict of interests that you cannot criticize.

On behalf of all samsters, I would like to congratuate Yakun towkay for his beautiful new car. Now can race with John Tan down Bukit Timah road. See whose BMW car is faster!

As a consumer, why are you supportive of price increases?

Yes I am. Price increases are due to main reasons like rise in prices of raw ingredients, serfs demanding annual pay increment, rise in oil prices, rentals going up due to interest rate increases. What to do? Pay more or eat at home!

Precisely. I concur with u. We need to constantly to increase our prices so that to make sure we have sufficient reserves to pay our minister salaries
