Floods returning to Singapore

FLOODS have returned to Singapore amid heavy, incessant rain since Saturday.

Readers of The Straits Times Online have been sending in reports of flooding, which seem mostly concentrated in the eastern part of Singapore.

Awakening Cryztalrella wrote on The Straits Times' Facebook fanpage: "Flooding along the whole road at Bedok Town park towards Bedok North Ave 3, i.e. after the PIE overhead bridge towards B07 Bus stop (Bus 18, 28, etc). It has become inaccessible during heavy downpour."

On Twitter, quelynxandever and iamsurebbyrz reported flooding at the Singapore Expo, and Loyang Avenue near Changi prison.

On their website, the National Environment Agency said widespread moderate to heavy rain is expected between 11.30am and midnight today.

This is the last weekend for people to go China town to shop for goodies for CNY. It seems so many bad omen in Singapore have happened. Heaven is calling all Singaporeans to wake up and open their eyes wide wide on the evil in white. Vote them out and we will see Singapore as pleasant as good old days again.

hahahaa...i think we are digging too much too often and too many places at the same time..you see for yourself, the whole island is dug everywhere....in the middle of a road..in the highway..in your own staircase...in your own heartland...everywhere, you see workers dig dig and dig...the earth is filling the pain..time to plug those holes and flood the damned place....
