I STARTED LIFE WITH VERY LITTLE MONEY. I went on dates on the bus. My wife suffered with me for 12 years before I struck it rich not by work but by hitting the Singapore 4D lottery BIG; 7 figures. I used that money to speculate in properties in 1988. Sold them all in 1997 and bought a company whose boss wanted to migrate to Australia. The rest is history.

I think I need to invent a new Political Term FS in place of FT in this case, for Foreign Spouses.

To be realistically fair, certain foreigners are brought in by individual Singaporeans as their wives or husbands, and we will not finger point the famiLEE LEEgime for bringing these foreigners in.

Certainly however, we have to blame famiLEE LEEgime for the indirect causes to these, that their system and policies had damaged our country and society so badly that our citizens are not finding attractive spouses from among our fellow citizens any more. This symptom indicate that the country and society as well as citizen's family nucleus had been ruined and our originality our uniquely good features of being Singaporeans had been diminished by famiLEE LEEgimes failure in various policies (combined).

It is true that individual citizens are directly responsible for their own choice of spouses. The fact that there is a clear change in preferences from previous generations who mostly married locals to the current generation who prefer to foreigners in place of locals, must had been caused by reasons related to and resulted from the famiLEE LEEgime's policies.
