The insignificant nobody me suspects that the problem lays with OVER - RELIANCE on ELECTRONICS for ANY car to function.

In this modern age, most cars have onboard computer chip that runs every function of a car, more so EV cars of ANY make, thru the onboard computer chip or Electronic Control Unit ( ECU )to actuators for even opening doors.

Once an ICE or EV car crashes, it is likely that the ECU will CEASE to function, & those voice controlled or button operated controls on doors will not function.

Thus, it is critical for car makers to ensure SAFETY FIRST, that the door which is a means to escape from a car under any situation, be kept under manual control & NOT electronic or even hydraulic control.
