Teachers are sending instructions/ messages to children through WhatsApp despite severe risk of handphone addiction. My friend's teenage boy crawled out the bedroom window and threatened to kill himself when his parents set restrictions on his mobile phone.

Singapore should follow China's policy in mandatory authentication for apps and restricting accessing to usage and games to children!

Ipads are mandatory in some schools and are also sold at high prices (due to extended warranty and Apple Pen) to students, for learning "design & tech" subjects. Parents also had to get another PC or Laptop at home for their assignments.

Laptops are less proprietary and offers more learning flexibility. Why can't secondary schools just standardize and get students to use Laptop instead of Ipads?
