according to daniel, he doesn't want his kids to work 12hrs a day, neglect his family especially wife and children and end up not earning enough to enjoy life.
that's precisely what's going on now for most. the pap loves it this way so that they could mind controlled a submissive serfs class.
just look at how much cbl mps are being paid. then their own ministers who are even more obscenely paid and still holding to multi directorship. can u imagine how could one multi-tasked so much? it can only mean that their jobs are very relaxing and grossly overpaid. such also should the average joe and jane be enjoying too - high pays, relax jobs and got time for the family and own leisure.
the reason whny many choose not to be in employment is the effort and time spent is simply not worth it. when u over toil, u could be inflicted with a range of chronic illnesses which in the end the amount of money u made might not be even enough to pay for the medical expenses.
it's about time to change mindset. pap's detached brainwave is now not not in synched with a typical singaporeans. they are still in denial, still arrogant and still bloody sarcastic about a citizen's plight.
it's about time to VOTE THEM OUT!!

Not easy to emulate CSJ in WP. Party dynamics different. Don't forget CSJ managed to 'bring' over some of the influential old birds in SDP then. These chaps were all waiting for CSJ's arrival.

Last time no internet, Lee Kuan Yew anyhow shoot will also hit target. Now got internet, CSJ's case pale in comparison to AIM and other PAP ministers' secret life. Pritam said he will press PAP to disclose a list of PAP privately owned company and who are the directors.
Daniel's presence is a calling, just like Hasel Poa, Tan Jee say, Benjamin Phwee, Tan Cheng Bock, Ang Yong Guan...and many others who joined opposition camp to protect the interest of this country. They cannot sit and wait for this country to rot under the hands of PAP, they must do and act fast. Thus, I foresee in the next 3 years, more and more professionals will join opposition. 2016 will be the year of great battle between the PEOPLE and the PAP. Tanjong Pagar will also be hotly contested by WP or SDP and the old fart will have to open his eyes wide and watch them taken from his hands.

with all these great talent, wp will fulfill their goal of towards first world parliament in 2016.
Kudos to these great people who are ready, or preparing themselves for future battle to redeem the lost pride and honour of our poor countrymen.
Arrogance has taken over the rank and file of the PAP. Everyone there only pursue their own self-interest and that of those close to them. Nepotism and cronyism is openly practised. Nothing had been learnt from the decline of Marcos and Suharto. Neighbouring Malaysia is also in the grips of change.
The PAP has become so badly diseased that any amount of "palliative care" or any form of cure is rendered impossible. Not even a miracle can save it from disintegration.
The citizenry has tolerated such abuses for many years. How much longer can anyone withstand such unfair practices?
I was hoping that there would have been honest changes within the PAP that would have benefited all of us, our beloved children and lovable grandchildren, but sadly, hitherto, none has ever materialised. As a matter of fact, the rot within it is deepening and now its very foundations are tottering. I never expected this from the PAP and am deeply disillusioned at their lackaidaisical attitude.
Through this column and others, we all have tried our very best by offering ideas for a change for the better, but the sheer arrogance on the part of the leadership has made simply ignored our kindness. To make matter worst, those planted on the forum pages as their moles, have done it a greatest disservice in the manner they act - blindly supporting it. These moles and sparrows have been revealed.
The small island-state that we call home, had been over-ran by unappreciative vermins from all over the world. These unscrupulous people have openly insulted us. Never could I ever imagine, that people who came here to our own house could insult us to such an extent and conveniently get away scot-free. Some of them have even called for the killing of Singaporeans abroad. Its truly chilling to hear such calls for our exterminations abroad. I can never imagine doing a similar act in another country which gave me shelter, for to do so is worse than treason. I just cannot continue elaborating all these injustices that had been leveled against our people.
Hope these BE would come as a message to the PAP, that enough is enough and that come 2016, many so-called "strong bastions" would be overthrown and conquered by the opposition parties.
At the end of the day, unity is strength and opposition parties should not condemn one another but instead come closer to prepare for that Great Battle ahead (2016).
May our beloved Flag once again be given the honour as a Flag of Singapore and not associated with the ruling party.

Daniel Koh needs to improve in terms of speech delivery. Content is great. Background well, second to CSM? LTK must have taken long to find a non scholar but highly educated person like him.

Nothing to worry about. Dr Daniel Goh is mobile, professionally. There are many private schools in Singapore conducting undergraduate and postgraduate degree courses. If you google Dr Daniel Goh, you will find out there are testimonies of him being good at teaching. These traits make him very mobile. Unlike professors who are only good at doing research and publishing in journals, an academic who is good at teaching is welcomed in many private academic institutions.
Furthermore, if Dr Daniel Goh loses his job at NUS, it will further incense the general public ..... the more popularity for Dr Daniel Goh, more hatred for the PAP.
The inclusion of more such good talents into WP will only brighten up the horizon for the next general elections.

TT and another are lawyers and the m&d is an engineer.
good for them and its good to see the ascendance of another party besides pap which is a smear on singapore
But lets hope they dont forget the ah chan, ali and raja in the street and stay thru to their party name: Workers party.
