Calm down. I am not with SDP nor do I give a toss whether the party wins or loses. I am partial to them simply because I can see their commitment to their ideals, their fearless fight for what they believe in and their commitment to multiracialism.

Compare them to Chinese Chauvinist Low and his sidekick, Princess Megawati They don't even have the guts to table their own AIM issue in Parliament, preferring instead to let unelected politicians, netizens, bloggers and the ordinary men in the streets (and even their own supporters) take the risks and speak up even as they collect their $16,000/month MP's allowances.

Who is being fearful of competition in PE? All approaches from RP and SDP of trying to avoid MCF ( albeit on impossible terms) have been rejected by WP. Is that a sign of a fear of competition?

Besides those already stated. Anyone with a level of maturity of an executive knows that there is a time and a place to bring up issues for the most strategic and biggest impact. I believe WP is extremely astute when they timed their moment and use the Town Council report as an opportunity to hit back before the next parliament.

Daily ranting and behaving like gangsters or hawkers just does not work. Politics is knowing when to keep silent and when to raise issues. And when issues are raised, they are raised subtly so it allows rooms for negotiation and cooperation. Burning bridges is the worse thing one can do in any situation.

Depends on who you ask. I have been "exposed" from a range of personalities ranging from Chee Soon Juan to Gopalan Nair and some "m&d" relaxing in a void deck playing football and smoking ganja. .

The WP Chinese chauvinists, racists and "Guess the race" racial bigots finally settled down on me being a Malay or Indian as it was convenient for them to spew out their racial tirades. They are unable to accept that a Chinese would stand up for other minorities and hence I must be an Indian or Malay with an "inferiority complex", to "ashame" to admit I am Indian or Malay.

But because you equate the WP as being "Chinese" (thus proving my point about the WP being a Chinese chauvinist party), you read my post as me inciting the minorities to turn against the Chinese.

But to be honest, I don't have to do much. The word is already out there, amongst the Malay and Indian communities. That is why the WP is known as a "Cina Bukit" party to the Malays and a "Manjan" party" to the Indians.

You need to get out and mix around with minorities other than stick within the WP and other Chinese chauvinist groups. You will then know what is happening out there.

Again, please don't take my word for it. Ask around. And please be polite when you do.
