今天(26日)晚間六點多，總統府憲兵驚傳遭歹徒手持榔頭攻擊，目前警方已經將嫌犯逮捕，正釐清其犯案動機。據了解，晚間六點多，一名居在在新北市的48歲的柯姓男子，酒後騎乘機車，並將機車停於貴陽街車道口崗哨處，他先是詢問總統府二號門憲兵「可不可以進去？」，遭到對方拒絕之後，整個人突然情緒失控，先是撿拾地上的石頭丟擲，之後又拿出隨身的榔頭攻擊，導致憲兵的手臂紅腫擦傷，不過柯男也隨即被府區衛哨攔阻制壓，憲兵衛哨協助警方合力拘捕柯男後，將帶他往介壽派出所偵訊。

對此，總統府方面表示，該名遭攻擊的憲兵經治療後，傷勢並無大礙，後續將交由警方偵辦，總統府周邊目前交通並未受影響，相關維安動態維持正常。

台北市中正一警分局今天表示，48歲柯姓男子今晚騎機車行經總統府旁貴陽街時，先撿路旁石塊丟擲側門站崗憲兵，柯男遭制止後，再持身上鐵鎚丟憲兵後被壓制，員警到場逮人，柯男供稱因想進總統府遭制止才犯案。
總統府發言人林鶴明晚間指出，今晚6時左右，一名中年柯姓男子疑似酒後騎乘機車後，將機車停於貴陽街車道口崗哨處，並向衛哨丟擲石塊與鐵鎚，旋即遭府區衛哨攔阻制壓。
林鶴明說，憲兵衛哨並協助警方合力拘捕該名男子後，帶往介壽派出所，該名男子丟擲石塊與鐵鎚時，造成總統府一名男性衛哨手臂外部擦傷，經治療後並無大礙，後續交由警方偵辦。總統府周邊目前交通並未受影響，相關維安動態維持正常。

台北市警察局中正一分局介壽路派出所所長魏子淘表示，晚間6時許獲報，有一名男子企圖闖入總統府，員警到場後，逮捕涉案的48歲柯男，柯男酒測值為0.04。

警方指出，柯男被帶回偵訊時，精神不穩，初步偵訊時，他供稱因想進入總統府遭制止才犯案，將依傷害及妨礙公務罪嫌把人送辦，但實際犯案動機仍須進一步偵訊、釐清。

下班時間總統府前，人來人往車水馬龍，一名男子沒戴安全帽，右轉之後竟然停車想要闖總統府，柯姓男子對憲兵說要去總統府，羅姓下士說不行，男子隨即拿石頭丟擲，再掏出鐵槌回揮舞，隨即遭壓制。
石頭丟到憲兵的防彈背心上，8名憲兵立刻一擁而上，警方也立即到場將人帶回。憲兵遭突襲，總統府也提高戒備。
去年（2017年）8月才發生憲兵遭武士刀砍傷事件，事隔將近一年，又有人上總統府挑釁，總統府維安又要繃緊神經。
