國防部發布新聞稿表示，為執行黑鷹飛行意外事件現場調查作業，上午由總督察長黃國明中將率空軍、陸軍特戰官兵、軍備局等共49人，前往失事區域進行蒐證。
國防部指出，現場人員已於上午10時40分尋獲「失事殘存飛行資料紀錄器FDR（黑盒子）」，將送往國家運輸安全調查委員會等相關單位協助進行資料判讀，以釐清肇事原因。
國防部強調，針對這次意外事件，感謝各界關心及協助，相關飛安調查作業目前仍在進行中，懇請媒體、各界勿做臆測性報導，以避免誤導視聽。

The UH-60M Blackhawk helicopter crashed yesterday in the mountainous area of Yilan, New North. The military entered the mountainous area at 7 am in search of a black box. The Ministry of National Defense stated that "the crash surviving flight data recorder FDR (black box)" was found at 10.40 am and will be sent to the National Transportation Safety Investigation Commission to clarify the cause.

The UH-60M Blackhawk helicopter crashed in the mountainous area of Yilan, New Taipei yesterday morning. 13 people on board and 8 sergeants were killed. Chief of Staff Shen Yiming was also killed and 5 others were injured.
In a press release issued by the Ministry of National Defense, in order to carry out the on-site investigation of the Blackhawk flight accident, Chief Inspector General Huang Guoming led a total of 49 people, including the Air Force, Army Special Operations Officers, and the Armament Bureau, to the wrecked area for investigation.
The Ministry of National Defense pointed out that the personnel at the scene had found the "frequent surviving flight data recorder FDR (black box)" at 10:40 am and would send it to the relevant units such as the National Transportation Safety Investigation Commission to assist in data interpretation to clarify the cause of the accident.
The Ministry of National Defense emphasized that in response to this accident, I would like to thank all circles for their concern and assistance. The related Fei'an investigation is still underway. We urge the media and all circles not to make speculative reports to avoid misleading audiovisual.
