Whatever happened to the SUPPOSEDLY SECURITY MEASURES set up by the authorities on the MRT to combat the terrorist threats.

If the system is fully operational and monitored 24/7 to detect and pre-empt or prevent any terrorist activities. Then shouldn't the SUPPOSEDLY 'operational' system be able to detect incidents like violent attacks, flouting of eating/drinking on MRT trains, not giving up seats on 'seats for pregnant/disabled passengers?
