Lies on SPF? My friend was arrested for failing to attend court,hence he was brought back to Cantonment police complex.However,all his personal was stolen whilst he was in the lock up.

This incident happened more than 3 months already.Today he went to ICA to had his IC replaced after 5weeks of waiting.He went to ICA with the police report.However,the ICA officer insists that he had to pay the $60 and claim from SPF.All this inconvienence resulted from the theft in a police station.Till today there is still no outcome.Haiz.......

Loss of personal items while in the custody of mata mata is a serious matter. The CP should seek to know how the IC was lost and how to enhance security to prevent recurrence. It is not about who pays for replacement IC but why and how it was lost in custody.

Is the theft linked to using the IC for criminal or terrorism purposes?
