Will you live in a murder / suicide flat?

Do you dare to stay in a flat that was once the scene of a grisly murder or suicide? Will it make you queasy to know that a tiong bu was dismembered in your bedroom or that window in the corner was where someone and her kids leapt to their deaths?

Personally I don't mind as long as the place has been given a good scrubbing. IMO, the flats to avoid are those whose previous occupants owe ah long lots of $$$.

If you have the courage to stay there, make sure the flat is spacious, bright and breezy and filled with happiness in the surrounding area too and not simply give it a good cleanse or scrubbing. Also avoid taking any single old fixtures or furnitures left behind as there might be some bad memories or qi lingering inside those items. The best is to change everything inside the house including electrical wiring, flooring, window panes, door frames...etc

My thinking is that even normal flats may have a lot of negative emotions in them. Maybe no murders happened inside but the previous family could have been very argumentative, or someone died a bitter old man with unfufilled wishes and regrets ....

So at the end of the day, just live for the future rather than dwell on the past

My thinking is that even normal flats may have a lot of negative emotions in them. Maybe no murders happened inside but the previous family could have been very argumentative, or someone died a bitter old man with unfufilled wishes and regrets ....

Long before Liu Hong Mei, there was a ghost story about this woman who was chopped into pieces by her jealous lover. The poodles managed to retrieve all her body parts except for the feet.

A mortician was working on the body late at night when he heard a jingling sound coming from the corridor. He peeped outside the morgue and saw a pair of dismembered feet walking towards him. The jingling sound came from an anklet around 1 foot.

The mortician panicked and ran for his life. Some time later, he returned to the morgue with the jaga and they discovered the dismembered corpse has disappeared, never to be found.
