It will back-fire on property cooling measure. The only solution is to allow owner option to extend the lease in 5 incremental years like the current short term BTO lease. Alternatively, allow new buyer to purchase additional lease on top of the remaining lease of the resale flat, on condition that the resale flat has less than 60 years remaining. There are many options the government can do, but they choose to remain quiet and meek with the hope to exploit pigeon hole dwellers in future.
