Completely understand. For a moment I thought it was removed as result of yet another lawyer's letter.

Most of the lawyers' letters I get now are for the takedown of some revenge porn that is spreading like wildfire.

I do my small part but the Streisand syndrome ensures that the more threads I delete the more intent the perpetrators are on spreading the images far and wide.

The best thing I can advise victims of revenge porn is to take charge by making more porn and controlling the narrative and quality and make a profit in the process.

Going to a lawyer only adds to the tally of loss and humiliation.

Father engaged a lawyer in this space who immediately made contact with the usual templates and got Facebook, SPH etc within 2 hours. Father however forgot to take down his own FB and the daughter as well. He realised it 3 days later.

The revenge porn case involving the Law student some years ago cost the family a fortune as they had to deal with US authorities thru the local lawyers. They ended up doing a deed poll to change her name.

No worries bro. I used to have the same challenges when I was moderating. Had to eat humble pie from Sam every now and then.

This is what I learnt. If its the same story and has been running for some time, and there is new development, it can ride as a new thread. People generally do not go down the line if the posts are similar. In this case the inside story ended up as post 30.

Look at Papsmearer's thread which is on the same subject but it is a new development as he teaching the 2 incompetent generals how to do their job.
