It's good for those animals, but bad for humans, simply because humans and animals have different kinds of bodies. ;)


can u think of anything thats more nutrients and packed with all kinds of vitamins and antibodies and hormones and whatnot that all children and babies need it to grow and develop every function of their bodies and brains,nothing can even come close to mothers milk or any other substitute of milk.
Human mothers' milk is good and sufficient for human babies.
It's also good for human adults, but not sufficient. ;)

Milk depletes the calcium from your bones

The milk myth has spread around the world based on the flawed belief that this protein and calcium-rich drink is essential to support good overall health and bone health in particular at any age. It is easy to understand that the confusion about milk’s imaginary benefits stems from the fact that it contains calcium – around 300 mg per cup.

But many scientific studies have shown an assortment of detrimental health effects directly linked to milk consumption. And the most surprising link is that not only do we barely absorb the calcium in cow’s milk (especially if pasteurized), but to make matters worse, it actually increases calcium loss from the bones. What an irony this is!

Here’s how it happens. Like all animal protein, milk acidifies the body pH which in turn triggers a biological correction. You see, calcium is an excellent acid neutralizer and the biggest storage of calcium in the body is – you guessed it… in the bones. So the very same calcium that our bones need to stay strong is utilized to neutralize the acidifying effect of milk. Once calcium is pulled out of the bones, it leaves the body via the urine, so that the surprising net result after this is an actual calcium deficit.

Knowing this, you’ll understand why statistics show that countries with the lowest consumption of dairy products also have the lowest fracture incidence in their population.

There is no way drinking milk adversely affects the body pH to an extent that causes calcium loss. This is stupid. And the next time you quote fucking statistics to "prove" idiotic claims that milk is bad, because your correlation analysis suggests that countries with low consumption of dairy also have low fracture rate, trained statisticians in SBF should be able to fucking dish out upon you a whole array of selection bias and omitted variable bias that you have committed.

To counter the ill effect of milk, wear magneticbangles and take chai seeds. OBJECTIVES:
This study examined whether higher intakes of milk and other calcium-rich foods during adult years can reduce the risk of osteoporotic fractures.

METHODS:
This was a 12-year prospective study among 77761 women, aged 34 through 59 years in 1980, who had never used calcium supplements. Dietary intake was assessed with a food-frequency questionnaire in 1980, 1984, and 1986. Fractures of the proximal femur (n = 133) and distal radius (n = 1046) from low or moderate trauma were self-reported on biennial questionnaires.

RESULTS:
We found no evidence that higher intakes of milk or calcium from food sources reduce fracture incidence. Women who drank two or more glasses of milk per day had relative risks of 1.45 for hip fracture (95% confidence interval [CI] = 0.87, 2.43) and 1.05 for forearm fracture (95% CI = 0.88, 1.25) when compared with women consuming one glass or less per week. Likewise, higher intakes of total dietary calcium or calcium from dairy foods were not associated with decreased risk of hip or forearm fracture.

CONCLUSIONS:
These data do not support the hypothesis that higher consumption of milk or other food sources of calcium by adult women protects against hip or forearm fractures.

This is miles away from saying milk intake depletes calcium - a conclusion based on pseudo science and abuse of statistical inference.

Are there confounding variables?

What is your sample size? Is your sampling technique robust? What are your clusters and have you done this for sufficiently representative cross section which include different racial groups, nationalities, ages, socio-economic status, health status?

What is the experimental design and have you done analysis on possible selection bias and omitted variable bias?

While we ponder over these, let us continue to enjoy our MacDonalds milkshake. Let us also ponder over the fact that for centuries, mankind has been consuming milk and animal protein and historical records show a robust correlation between people who had access to these types of protein and their longevity.
