why are some sg men so boastful online but a nobody in real life?

I've never claimed to be wealthy, I don't even own a car.

In any case, a single man living in a 3-room apartment, I already feel it's extravagant. But government policy is such that I have no way to downsize to a smaller one.

i didn't say exclude men from other nationalities but in my question, i included only sg men in my sample size. please be more logical!
