Journalists listen to France's national soccer team coach Raymond Domenech during his news conference in Bloemfontein June 21, 2010.

France captain Patrice Evra’s absence during the pre-match conference said it all about the tensions in the camp.
And when asked why he was addressing the media alone, Domenech said: “I did this because I felt that whatever explanations and excuses they tell you make no sense.”
The chaotic scenes at the French national team camp led to the resignation of their team director Jean- Louis Valentin.
“It’s a scandal for the French, for the young people here. It’s a scandal for the federation and the French team. They don’t want to train. It’s unacceptable,” Valentin said on Sunday.
The problems in the Les Bleus’ camp have resulted in President Nicolas Sarkozy asking his Sports Minister Roselyne Bachelot to prolong her stay in South Africa to speak to Evra and Domenech.
Meanwhile, Domenech says the players will have to show whether they regret their action or not when they face Bafana.
“I have 22 players and they are confident. It’s not an issue of whether trust them or not. It’s up to them to show what they can do on the pitch. I’m going to put the best possible team to overcome the experience which is extremely exhausting,” Domenech said.
