Pritam's father, 69-year-old Amarjit Singh, is a consultant in litigation and dispute resolution practice, specialising in criminal law.

Besides work, Amarjit also spends his weekends counseling inmates at Changi prison these days.

He also previously served as a defence counsel, district judge and deputy public prosecutor, and was also a Singapore Armed Forces (SAF) officer between 1970 and 1986.

As if all that wasn't enough, while serving the nation, Amarjit took up night classes and sat for A-Level examinations as a private candidate, before doing well enough to go on to read law at the National University of Singapore (NUS).

Just be fair to both Parties, Raeesah Khan fabricate a story to say in Parliament
Her speech was seen/vetted by the Leader of Opposition before she went on.
Maybe Pritam Singh did not verify the authenticity of that story, that is oversight
But when the story got challenged by the Police, the lie got out of hand.
IF Pritam Singh apology at once for the oversight & have Raeesah Khan retract statement with apology
Things would not have ended up this way, till this day ...

To be fair, the liar is Raeesah Khan right? She just implicated others. Then why isn't she there for her lies?
