Yah kin leng ah hia, I more active in the overseas forum, Scroobal used to try and encourage that one as well. But Neddy, AXe168 also no longer there anymore. I just "lurk" around from time to time. Life moves on here for me. This, "claire" incident was also interesting. Whether zha bor or tah bor. Having more females here would also help. Maybe you can get some mei meis from hangflower joint to come in here?

I can't match the marketing and technological might of SPH related social platforms plus the climate of fear is gone so the anonymity this forum once provided isn't needed anymore.

The mobile revolution has made things even harder for me to keep up. HWZ has white labelled apps specifically for reading and posting in HWZ. I tried moving the forum to discourse but the database was simply too big to import.

I could try starting from scratch on a new mobile friendly plattform but I don't have the energy or the motivation to see it through anymore plus my knowledge of the latest scripting languages is far too basic to be useful.

Guys I've been doing this for 20 years. It's a one man show and I've lasted longer than Nokia so I can't be that bad.

The forum is here for you guys to use. I keep it going for old times sake and will continue to do so till my deathbed which can't be too far away now.

Appreciate all your efforts, Leongsam. Lots of things discussed here that would never see the light of day in another forum. Also, I'm sure behind the scenes in this forum, there have been various friendships made and bonds formed that would not happen otherwise (especially in the Emigration Folder where people have successfully helped others).
