Casey is an educated and no doubt successful man who is probably in his late 30s or 40s. He should know that by making stupid comments on social media especially those directed at a certain community will draw a violent backlash. If he was a young and foolish teenager, I'd probably forgive him for his ignorance and naivety but he is a middle aged man.

He deserves all the abuse that is coming his way and perhaps maybe he will think twice next time before opening his big mouth.
Also, the comments he made about all the abuse his son was receiving is a fair one. It's not the kid's fault that his dad is a retard but by posting pictures of his son together with his silly comments on Facebook, he's basically opened the door to the on-line community to come in and take a pop at the poor kid.

I have a zero tolerance approach to idiots like Casey and feel a written apology is simply not enough. Some other form of penance or act of contrition is necessary. Too many Ang Moh (especially the banker, financial professional types get away with such behaviour). They need to realise that they're no better than the rest of us.

Sadly, Singaporean are generally a forgiving bunch and this whole incident will probably be forgotten about in a few weeks.
