While TOC continues “mating”, the “wayang” has long ended

Oops…What I meant to say is that while TOC’s headlines is still stuck on 24 October with MM Lee’s “assortative mating” video, we have already completed our “wayang”, oops…or rather our coverage of the latest minibond protest at Hong Lim Park.

At 6.10pm, we published our field report of the event together with photos before anybody else in Singapore.



By 8.10pm, the first part of Mr Tan Kin Lian’s speech is out.

We need a check then and found that TOC, CNA and Straits Times did not carry any news on the event:

Starting a blog or a website is nothing like registering a political party yourself.

Once you do that you will face a mammoth of challenges, finding jobs hard to come by, friends start to distance themselves etc.

What you are doing is just a toy, be more respectful of other people.

Singaporeans are still adverse to politics by and large. TOC is not really a political party, it is a PAP-sponsored blog.


Starting a blog or a website is nothing like registering a political party yourself.

Once you do that you will face a mammoth of challenges, finding jobs hard to come by, friends start to distance themselves etc.
