After growing up in Singapore for nearly half a decade, i feel that the future is getting more bleak for our children. Like what the person posted on the article, car and housing prices are really crazy and unreasonable, enslaving our population. By the way, there is nothing wrong for a family man to own a vehicle. Our traffic congestion is caused by our country's policies to bring in excessive foreigners and high COE price is due to reduced quotas after COVID, and the new vehicle PARF calculations.

This morning, I saw my young neighbour carrying his gear, going to report for his ICT. I could emphasize that his parents, work and children are on the back of his brain while making his way to army camp, meanwhile the regular army officers are happily drawing their $100,000 - $150,000 annual pay, having mistresses and good times in KTVs.

Younger people (Gen Z) getting married can stay with their parents and forget about applying for bto matured wife should be discouraged from buying & upgrading into EC or private property

Don't buy cars, say NO to Grab, TADA and Gojek too only take public transportation

Try your best to cook and eat at home, bring home cooked foods to workplace for lunch and do not patronize hawker centres or any causal restaurants or fine dining
