The govt is there to serve the people. Those who serve the govt are therefore serving the people. That's what scholarship holders should be doing.
The ones you should be taking to task are the PRCs, Indians and other foreign nationals who are handed a Sinkie scholarship on a platter and then go home to enjoy life.
Sam, don't blame me for asking. In the newspaper I think as a Sunday paper where they interview A*STAR scholars. Got at least 1 or 2 PRC got the scholarship convert to SG citizen.
BUT the newspaper say they got scholarship from SINGAPORE MINISTRY OF EDUCATION. Yes, I read it THREE times to make sure I was not cock eyed.
SINCE WHEN DID MOE START GIVING SCHOLARSHIP TO FOREIGNER? HOW MANY HAVE BEEN GIVEN SO FAR? WHY THEY NEVER TELL US?
Sorry for the caps Sam. But this time I hope the real oppos in Parliament ask and ask very very accurate questions.
It is time they are held accountable for spending our money!
