You're using a 4G wifi dongle la. To be honest nowadays almost all smart phones can do the same thing and what do you mean no need hotspot? The modem is a hotspot the minute it creates a wifi connection for other devices to connect to.
Even for a non-techie, the fundamental differences in speed and dosh are obvious. Yesterday's all day/night outage was a hassle, even if one tethered with mobile.
