What no evidence? His one-upmanship is for all to see. That is why no other self-respecting parties would wish to satisfy him by participating in his politically driven seminars and gatherings. I guess if it is just a social event then it is OK.

In the late 1950's, when the Old Man was in the Opposition, he too fought for democracy and Opposition unity, but after achieving success, what kind of political animal he had become? Everything he thought must be correct.

CSJ is hard-hitting and singing the same song of fighting for democracy while in opposition. Without showing an ounce of success he hopes to be recognised as an Opposition leader. His supporters badmouth other opposition parties to help him achieve this aim.

Has he ever shown respect to other party leaders who have shown greater success than him? If he ever succeeds in winning an election, will he lead another PAP like party to seize full control of the political system? I am not too hopeful that he will not but his economic platform is a lot more socialist than even the PAP's. This is an old economic concept, something that I am not looking forward to.

Anyway, the topic here is about the Old Man and what he would be if he were still young and energetic.

Not true. You see many forummers here – many of them WP supporters – badmouthing Chee and the SDP, but not many badmouthing WP. Just do a search of anti-SDP threads & posts here. SDPHopelessParty, LTB, SgParent, wMulew, steffychun, cheowyonglee, the list goes on ...

The only constant WP nitpickers are GMS and skponggol; neither of them are SDP supporters.

That's the problem with some supporters. They don't tell the truth, provoke people to retaliate then start whining for being attacked. I wouldn't say only SDP supporters are like that because some WP supporters are like that also.

Do a search - you'll see many more SDP-bashing threads than WP-bashing threads in this forum. You'd have to be blind not to notice this. Of course not all SDP-bashers are WP supporters, but many are. Even a thread on LKY like this will see someone dragging CSJ's name in.

The few SDP supporters here generally don't start threads badmouthing WP but focus on posting updates on SDP policies (metalslug, for instance). Some, like Cruxx (if you can call him a supporter), may pass sarcastic comments about WP but that's hardly bashing.

I can accept if you say there are more WP supporters than SDP or other parties.

But the notion that there is more SDP bashing than WP bashing is false. Anti-WP nicks spend a lot more time bashing WP. Sometimes, that's the only thing they do.

WP supporters don't spend all their time bashing SDP. Very little. They mostly talk about other stuff.

But I am new here and this is my observation of the time I was here. You may have gotten your impression from the further past.
