what vegetables can be eaten raw?

hi,
recently want to eat more healthy,
but doesn't want to cook as troublesome.
would like to ask what are the vegetables that can be eaten raw?
i know celery, brochili can be eaten raw. any others?

If you watch Japan Hour, they consume a lot of wild leaves and flowers from the woods.

Perhaps you can try some from our own backyard.

But hey, be WARN, it can be toxic. So try a tiny whinny bit to test it out first.:biggrin::biggrin:

Seriously, you have to eat like a cow if you want to make a meal by eating vege.

A better alternative is fruit, those that contains more carbohydrates like durian, banana, duku etc...

Even then, it should be restricted to one main meal not both.

sushi, raw fish, raw prawn, properly cleaned,,,,

vegetables and fruits, make sure thoroughly washed of pesticides,,,,

less carbo, less red meat, more fibre, more white meat,

good breakfast, medium lunch and light dinner (no supper)

I like raw vegies, all of them. The chunkier ones you need to slice into smaller pieces.

But wash them thoroughly or else you might die from the pesticides !!!
The best way is to soak them overnight in detergent-laced water and use plenty of running water when cleaning them.

Nutritious-wise, all vegies should be eaten raw. Never seen a cow cooking, really...:p:p

One should look at both veggy & fruits, its more healthy.

Not necessary to eat raw veggy, can still get the benefits by eating cooked veggy. Very, very difficult to eat raw beans, mushroom, potatoe... Some believe that for the full benefits of the tomatoe you have to cook it.
