What is your local comfort food

100% it is Nasi Minyak. Right now, I’m eating at home and having fairly simple but healthy meals. I’ve started losing weight and came across an interesting article. I’m thinking of starting to exercise regularly and eat healthily starting Monday. If I stick to these two rules, I believe I can lose weight. Only after that will I start visiting cafes and restaurants and eating less healthy food.

Nasi Minyak is such a great choice for comfort food! I totally get where you're coming from with starting healthy meals at home first. It’s amazing how much of a difference it makes. I’ve been trying to focus on healthy eating too, and recently started adding organic grass fed whey protein to my smoothies. It’s helped keep me feeling full and energized without all the extra sugars. I started working out regularly a few months ago, and it’s been such a game-changer. I feel so much better overall!

Hainan Chicken (half bird) plus 2 livers plus 2 rice with 1 big bowl of soup .... very comfortable one.

Omg, that looks so good. Find one day, we go makan. Eat ter kwa in moderation should be ok lah.
some people say liver is good though high in cholesterol but it is considered lean meat with almost no saturated fat whereas bak chor has lots of saturated fat and unhealthy..

Fried Oysters & White Chicken Rice for me :inlove:
let me recommend you one of the best and underrated orkluak stall in singapore. it's in pek kio food centre. they sell 4 dishes, fried rice, hokkien mee, char away teow and orkluak.

their hokkien mee and fried rice so so. but their charkwayteow is very good. even better is their orkluak. it's not oily and properly cooked. to me, they have the best non oily orkluak in singapore. i hate oily orkluak so this stall is perfect for me...
