Just wondering, if Old man kick the bucket, will there be a by election in TP GRC? Which million $ ministars will helm the team.

That would be an excuse to try to get Ong Ye Kung in, if he still wants it.

Why not? maybe big mourning, tears, 3 days holiday followed by grandson coming in as MP in TP?

Ong Ye Kung not heavy weight enough to helm the team. However, PAP will most likely put him there to get him into parliament. Maybe Georgie Yeo can make a comeback, heal the call to save the country or some other stupid excuses. Maybe they will re-call Jayakumar or LBH. Whatever, this is a great opportunity for another GRC to fall.

they already showed us that they su-buey-kee for many yrs. i recall not long ago, 1 MP of a GRC went to meet the maker, but there was no by-election. they cited reasons that the duties will be split & shared among the others who haven't die. so, if oldman goes to lim kopi with hades, u can bet your last penny that there will be no by-elections in tg pagar.

perhaps, the island may be ordered to cease functioning, in hope that their grassroot mourners can make the funeral look like a MJ's concert.
