HONG KONG : Prospects for the global economy were among issues discussed when Singapore's Foreign Affairs Minister George Yeo met Hong Kong's Chief Executive Donald Tsang on Monday.

Mr Yeo, who is in Hong Kong, also discussed domestic developments in the territory.

He later called on the Vice-Chairman of the Chinese People's Political Consultative Conference (CPPCC), Tung Chee Hwa.

Both men exchanged views on developments in the region, and in relations between China and the US.

Mr Tung is the former Chief Executive of Hong Kong.

Mr Yeo will leave for Shanghai on Tuesday to attend a meeting of the Harvard Business School Asia-Pacific Advisory Board.
