I was revulsed by trump initially but now after seeing how he threatened corporates to stop investing overseas and create jobs in the US, and got Taiwanese companies to start manufactur8ng plants in US instead of China, pulled out of Iran and tough it out with all its trading partners, particularly China, i am awed.

extend your reasons, even chinese saw some other chinese with disdain ...the Hokkiens fought with Teochews and killed about a thousand too ...even LKY Hakka Baba background was viewed in disdain by his wify family as well ..thus having married secretly in UK ...even among the Tamils here the Tamils from Sri Lanka and Tamils from India viewd each other with disdain ...not to mention about the Malays either ,ask the Boyanese if our local Malays treated them without disdain ...even in Malaysia the PAS as a party remains exclusive to kelantan / trengganu or the Chams tract of malays and they are treated with disdain by the western coast malays ...the list goes on

teaching tiongs manners and civic mindedness? takes a whole generation. Can be done, but the people being paid millions to figure it out import them wholesale. Teaching this stuff is not even an afterthought for them.
