Looks like the mystery continues.
Must have been hard for the founders of National Enquirer to put this out. They however still have issues with vocabulary and its meanings. Like the term Non-partisan, the word "association " is now interpreted as not knowing the real identity of the person that they are associating with. I wonder if the series of emails between tham was on why they are not associating with one another.
By the way, FANG is not "associated" with National Enquirer as he was only a guest contributer so no "association" had taken place. The term "guest" was not originally used when he was named in "The Team" in the National Enquirer website as they did not want anyone to associate Fang as a hotel guest or a guest at a party. Just because he was named in the "The Team" in the National Enquirer website does not mean he was associated with the National Enquirer as they had only corresponded via email and his real identity is not known. The fact that his names appears in their website does not mean an association had occurred as his real identity is not known.
If one goes to the home page of National Enquirer for 26th April, Fang's articles ppear in 4 out of 5 with the 5th done by Gaberial Sim. This again does not mean that an association had occurred as his real identity is not known even though 80% of opinion pieces are from Fang. It would be a mistake to associate content with the term associating.
If the above does not make sense, maybe someone else can work out what "association" means.

Dear readers,
The purpose of this blog posting is to clarify Singapore Enquirer’s alleged association with Wayang Party’s blog, a question that has been posed to us by other bloggers and by the mainstream press.
Many people have asked about Singapore Enquirer’s association with the Wayang Party blog. We are not owned by Wayang Party and neither are we associated with them in anyway.
The members of Singapore Enquirer DO NOT know the columnists of Wayang Party in person. We have not met one another before.
We have corresponded via email so far. However, we do not have their contact numbers, and we have not corresponded in any way apart from email. Once again, at the risk of repetition, we do NOT know who they are.
Wayang Party pays a honorarium for every video/interview produced by The Enquirer TV which they screen on their blog.
We hereby affirm that we will not be associated in any way, shape or form with Wayang Party’s blog henceforth.
Fang Zhi Yuan from Wayang Party was a guest columnist of The Singapore Enquirer. He has requested to quit the editorial team to focus on his work with Wayang Party.
