DISGUISED as the legendary folk hero Zorro, Minister Lim Swee Say made a surprise appearance at Singhealth's Nurses' Day celebrations on Wednesday afternoon. Held on the grounds of the Singapore General Hospital, the annual celebration honoured over 7,000 nurses who work in the various institutions under the Singhealth Group.

The theme for this year's celebrations was Movie Magic, and Mr Lim was flanked by an entourage of movie characters like the Storm Troopers and Batman as he handed out roses to the nurses there. This is not the first time Mr Lim has dressed up for the event. Two years ago, he came as a trishaw rider.

Mr Lim, Minister in the Prime Minister's Office and the NTUC secretary-general, also launched a $100,000 community project initiated by Singhealth and the Healthcare Services Employees Union. The money will benefit needy patients who cannot afford items such as diapers, wheelchairs or walking frames after they are discharged from hospital.

Shot through the heart and you're to blame
Darlin' you give Zorro a bad name

An angel's smile is what you sell
You promise me heaven then put me through hell
Chains of love got a hold on me
When passion's a prison you can't break free

Oh! You're a loaded gun, yeah
Oh! There's nowhere to run
No one can save me
The damage is done

Shot through the heart and you're to blame
You give love a bad name
(Bad name)
I play my part and you play your game
You give love a bad name
(Bad name)
Hey, you give love a bad name

Paint your smile on your lips
Blood red nails on your fingertips
A school boy's dream, you act so shy
Your very first kiss was your first kiss goodbye

Whoa! You'€™re a loaded gun
Whoa! There'€™s nowhere to run
No one can save me
The damage is done

Shot through the heart and you're to blame
You give love a bad name
(Bad name)
I play my part and you play your game
You give love a bad name
(Bad name)
You give love, oh!

Oh! Shot through the heart and you'€™re to blame
You give love a bad name
I play my part and you play your game
You give love a bad name
(Bad name)

Shot through the heart and you'€™re to blame
You give love a bad name
(Bad name)
I play my part and you play your game
You give love a bad name
(Bad name)

You give love
You give love
(Bad name)
You give love
You give love
(Bad name)

You give love
You give love
(Bad name)
You give love
You give love

CCB! The Circus called! They want their CLOWN back!

Why the bloody fucking son of a gun are we paying a minister a multi million dollar salary to dress up as a cartoon character?!?!?

Haha..

This shows that he has nothing better to do at work........

Wayang at its quintessence

Give him a break la... if he is there to cheer up the nurses with costumes, then its a good thing. We all need happy nurses to take care of the sick patient. I was only discharged from hospital and the care from nurses is often under-appreciated .... and only appreciated when you are in the ward.

Zorro (Spanish for fox) is the secret identity of Don Diego de la Vega (originally Don Diego Vega), a nobleman and master living in the Spanish colonial era of California. The character has undergone changes through the years, but the typical image of him is a black-clad masked outlaw who defends the people of the land against tyrannical officials and other villains. Not only is he much too cunning and foxlike for the bumbling authorities to catch, but he delights in publicly humiliating those same foes.

Huh? Are u sure the above is Lim Sia Suay?
