TJS or TCB

TCB's presidency will be similar to Wee Kim Wee. Dignified and well-liked.

TJS's presidency ... some how this fellow does not seem right but then again to see Ah Goh and Ah Loong uncomfortable ... priceless.

You have not answered the question that so many years after leaving civil service he has said NOTHING. Even when he join SDP and fought alongside the people who kena under the operation he also did NOTHING. Now he run for PE he again did NOTHING. So what he is doing can very much be a WAYANG like you said. A leopard can never change its spot like you said.

We can both speculate who is the wayang. But TCB going against LKY, GKS, etc is cast in stone. TCB voting against his own party without party whip lifted is cast in stone. TCB getting fucked by party whip for not voting with party line is history and cast in stone. You dare to tell me 20 years ago MIW already know TCB a small MP will run for President?

Of the 4 candidates, 2 of them are EX-PAP, TKL had close links with PAP as the NTUC is a definitely PRO-PAP but became angry with the PAP because of a falling out for whatever reasons.

Only TJS was brave enough to go against the PAP openly as an opposition candidate in the last GE.

The Pro-PAP votes would therefore be SPLIT between TT, TCB and TKL. The hardcore anti-PAP voters would go for TJS and therefore he would be getting the more votes than TCB.

One should not vote TCB simply because one feels that he has the better chance of winning. Rather one should vote the candidate that is MOST LIKELY to be brave enough with BALLS of STEEL without any emotional ties or baggage to the PAP so as to effectively keep tabs on the PAP without FEAR or FAVOUR.

The MIW has got all of us by the balls. By having 4 candidates, we are no better off than before as we are still disunited. I am voting TCB yet I see many also want TJS. All of us are where the MIW wants, like confused headless chickens. If the majority says TJS I will go along. We need someone to do a head count, male a final decision and we vote in the guy. TCB or TJS? Everyone agree? Can we choose someone together or shall we all go our separate ways?

Haha...Agree. There is another crusade that needs his expertise more than anywhere else. His stage is the next GE where he can contribute more effectively in standing up for the voices and cries of the people. Judging from the limited roles of the President and from the way someone recently says, how much of the President's good advice will be taken in depends on how much respect the PM has for him, I think he will have very little room to maximise his full potential.

He's also a man of simple needs, doesn't splurge on luxury items, doesn't drive a luxury car, still lives in the house he bought when he got married. That's why he can slow down and still stretch his money and continue to support his family.

And donate the bulk of his presidential salary to charity - if he gets elected.

Hi Bro, The Pappies has learned their lesson on OTC, so they've got Nathan and now TT...
Voting for TJS is better cos it would be a check on Pappies straight away...
Who want TJS to wait for 2016 and contest again(very uncertain to win)???
By then, I'm not sure what policies and further damages the pappies would have done...can't afford to wait for 5 years lah...
If TJS is elected, he would be a very good role model for others good qualities people to come out and run as opposition...
