Not true. I voted for WP in the last election. And I was able to convince my wife and her family (who used to voted blindly for PAP) to also vote for WP.

It is time to start "vote-out PAP" campaigning in the new beginning of 2010. We must all path way for Singapore alternative parties until election is called. It is better to start early so that any cheating strategy implemented by PAP will have no effect on 2/3 of anti-PAP populations.

It is quite commendable for 1,000 people to openly declare that they would vote against the PAP, a slight change from the past. However, it could also mean that people who vote for the opposition are more open, rather than the ground has shifted.

Each side has their hardcore voters but the PAP lives on swing voters.

Though there will always be a small percentage of ppl voting for the opposition, the rest of the Sinkies are divided only into two categories.

Those that gain with the PAP in power and the rest, balless on voting day and will vote for them, just to be safe.
