A dispute between two families has led to bloodshed in South Auckland.

Police were called to a house in Otahuhu just after 8 o'clock last night, after reports of a disagreement between neighbouring families. A teenager is in police custody for allegedly stabbing a next door neighbour with a pocket knife.

The victim has minor injuries.
