Changes in Appeal Court, A-G Chambers Share on facebookShare on twitterShare on emailShare on printSourceStraits TimesDate01 Jun 2012AuthorK.C. Vijayan

One more change announced by the Prime Minister's Office yesterday was that Senior Counsel Vinodh Coomaraswamy from Shook Lin & Bok would join the Bench as judicial commissioner.

In 1991, Oxford-educated Mr Vinodh, 47, was the first Singaporean to top the United Kingdom Bar exams.

He follows in his father's footsteps in becoming a High Court judge. The late Justice Punch Coomaraswamy served in the High Court between 1984 and 1993.

Punch was a independent Judge and i do hope Vinodh will be like his father and not side with the papies establishment

In 1991, Oxford-educated Mr Vinodh, 47, was the first Singaporean to top the United Kingdom Bar exams.

In 1991, he hadn't even stepped into Oxford University. In 1991, the "Nottingham-educated" sat for his UK Bar exams. He did his postgraduate in 1998 at Oxford.

So die die also must disown Nottingham University.

.

Father also attended Nottingham University .

The press feels that Oxford more better .

But , without Nottingham University , there will be No Punch and

maybe also No Vino ...

Another piece of shameful writing !!!
