As an “older” person, I feel terrible for the younger generation these days. I grew up before this wave of Korean culture and although there were beauty standards while I was growing up, I never felt the need to change who I was. There was no social media, no Youtube, no makeup tutorials. With the rise of Kpop, it’s changed the way young Asian girls and boys think of themselves. Doing extreme things just to meet Asian beauty standards which are pretty much impossible to attain without plastic surgery. The worst part? These celebrities, of all ethnicities tend to say that they never went under the knife. It’s disgusting, and it’s sad that media has made so many people think they’re ugly when they’re not.

She is actually really pretty, she thinks that she dosnt look korean enough and shes insecure about it, but you dont have to look korean if you were born there, you just have to look like you, and you are beautiful. Your not ugly we just live in a judgmental society.
