[Video] - Taiwan media mocks Singapore's free visa arrangement with China causing a rise in burglary cases committed by China nationals

May NO fellow Singaporeans take umbrage against the Taiwanese over this matter. They are living in desperate times & as such, some whom would utter nonsense, or paid to utter such, are only doing so out of ignorance.

Taiwan was only one of the few countries that supported our fledging nation during our independence. For this privilege & honor, Taiwan WILL always have our support, perhaps, adroitly managed in the ever juggernaut of change which is the only constant in life....

Perhaps those ignorant are unaware of the safety measures our nation had put in place. There lays questions on proactive or reactive measures. NO mortal is perfect, & fortunately, so too morons. All it takes for a burglar to succeed is based upon 1% of chance, but authorities need at the least 100% to be on the toes, which is a perfection that no nation is or had been able to succeed.

It will take further EDUCATION & COOPERATION from everyone in society, to ensure safety to all. Such measures lay in NOT leaving valuables such as cash or assets laying in a house, as NO home is as safe as a secured bank or safe deposit box, & such is implemented in Singapore. So too the adherences to be not flashy or boasting of wealth kept at home, by owners, family, relatives, loved ones & friends as loose lips would figuratively sink ships & literally one's hidden wealth kept at homes. Nothing is impossible to the desperate or the highly trained extraction teams...

Ultimately, NO burglar would be safe despite the 1% chance, as Democratic Singapore is a highly surveillance State to PROTECT all so that each may have a good night of rest after a hard days work, with dedicated fellow citizens keeping watch, from SPF, our Military & even volunteer Militias.

Surveillance cameras abound everywhere, right up to even Customs Checkpoints where anyone entering Singapore would have to face a camera & thru AI face recognition systems. We Singaporeans respect privacy rights, as well as supporting tourism which is a source of revenue for our treasury. Everyone would be welcome into Singapore, but anyone who attempts to be funny, rest assure, WE are READY to snuff out their fun or harmful desires to others...

NONE can escape. One can run, but can NEVER hide in Singapore, & thus such is not only helping our country, but even Worldwide Humanity, to capture criminals & bring them to justice, at the least in Singapore & regional intel partners, if other nations intel agencies refuses to cooperate to their own detriment.

Burglary cases increase, jobseekers all over now, some so pretty and young. They just want to work outside china and hopefully settle down outside china.

More freelancers operating in condos without gated security. For each reported case by MCST, police takes days to take actions because there are so many cases to handle. Prosecutors also let those who rent on their behalf off.

KTV also flooded with them - poor service and expensive vases, non-professional or diligent, just looking for boyfriends.

Many secured jobs in F&B industry and hosted by co-living companies owned by PRC that significantly exceeding URA quota (6 or 8 pax) on tenancy, while declaring their address elsewhere on work-permits.

Now freelancers go to Tuas to serve hardcore labourers

All of us know that this is hard truth and so we never get angry even though this hard truth is being narrated by foreign media

That's the truth, because China in its current state is a fucked up country with fucked up people.

If not burglary, they will be scammers and swindlers.

As China's economy further declines, expect more criminals to come here. You can forget about big-spending tourists or the so-called 'investors and job creators'. Some of them might be on a blacklist or wanted list in western countries, harbouring them will not do you any good.

又一宗豪宅盗窃案,17个中国人涉案,14人已逃离

Suppose Sinkieland builds a Shinto shrine that's similar to Japan's Yasukuni shrine. Many Tiongs will deface it. Why? They have been utterly brainwashed by the CCP regime since young. They even get triggered at the sight of Taiwan's flag.

I suspect the same thing has happened in Malaysia but Malaysia police is brutal and they will use guns to kill the suspected robbers.

So I believe China PRC only pick the soft target Singapore

Many China scam crime syndicates operate from Malaysia since the pre-covid days. They don't do petty crimes. Malaysian Chinese bankers help them with laundering too. Very sophisticated, I lazy to glorify them in greater details.

It's quite true.

Without someone to hold them as responsible, anyone can come in and leave Singapore within 2 hours or 3 hours after you commit the crime. The flight between Singapore has been numerous and practically every day affair. If they can't leave Singapore on flight, they can leave Singapore via Malaysia land checkpoint.

With Visa system, if someone comes in and commit the crime. At least, the authority can find that person who applied for that visa and question why did you apply the visa for this person and so on and so for.

Obviously, it doesn't work this way.
With a visa system, the local authority can actually hold people responsible for a crime committed.
Camera is necessary, and it's just a side show. Ultimately, who actually bring him in can be traced. What is the motive and are you one of the probable suspect ?

My point is someone needs to be responsible

Let's not get xenophobic.

Are ALL China citizens crooks & thieves? If so, then ICA can simply turn away anyone who carries a China passport, & turn Singapore into North Korea, which restricts tourism even with visa applications which they suspiciously deemed anyone can give false info on a mere piece of paper or backed by fabricated creations. When things go wrong, the authorities are left with only a piece of paper after the figurative 'horses had bolted from the stables'.

The answer is no. There are good people & there are bad people, regardless if from China, India, USA, EU, etc. etc, even amongst us Singaporeans, & it is impossible to detect WHO is good or bad, except to be reactive. To be proactive, such as using ethnicity discriminatory Profiling, is an insult to Humanity, not to mention also the harm which would do to our Economy & productivity which is dependent on local trade/services & international trade.

Did that Taiwan media pay for our social expenditures, for schools, hospitals, roads, etc? No, so why listen to them & their insidious casting of aspersions upon innocent people? Singapore is a Rule of Law nation & anyone is innocent till proven guilty in a Court of Law.

Millions had been spent on providing security to anyone who resides here, & proven effective, with the quick capture of burglars as well as recovery of stolen items.
