Isn't there any nasi melayu instead of just nasi padang?
No diff anyway, it's copycat from nasi padang..
Real value and cheap nasi lemak and super authentic, go to jb. Just go across the causeway and you can have the best nasi lemak ever.
To get a different malay cooking, go up north due to Thai influence.
