I strongly condemn the cowardice shown by the police, leaving those poor, helpless and innocent vehicles to die.

My thoughts go out to the family members of those police cars and the ambulance. RIP.

Clearly, the workers were not drunk...and attacking and overturning police cars show they are against authority
and the chief reason is the underlying social tension built up over the years against them in poor wages and working conditions.

I saw this video taken by this Malaysian accent guy on the night of the riot and it was alot longer than that. The original video shows a significant period of time that the vehicles were idling there and the rioters only moved in after a long while. My view is the rioters don't seem drunk and sober enough to wait and assess the situation to be safe before moving forward. Anyone has the original video?
