To everyone who needs to know, this is a sea mantis and it may not have much meat but it is really nice.

These are called "galeras" in southern Spain. We eat them steamed and they look soooo much better than deep fried... honestly. It is curious to see how they are captured. Mantis shrimp are also cooked on a short pasta/rice stew called "guiso de galeras". Enjoy!
 
Be careful of the pincers when it's still alive!
