In other words, if there are 2 persons with running nose of persistent cough next to you, 1 is probably H1N1 positive.

Those with flu more likely to have H1N1 now
IF YOU have the flu bug, the chances of it being the H1N1 virus is now higher than it was a few weeks ago.Latest Health Ministry data show that 53 per cent of patients with flu-like symptoms - cough, fever or a runny nose - have been infected with H1N1. This is an increase from a month ago, when only 13 per cent tested positive for the new virus.

too fearful to contemplate how many will eventually die



in a averge population of 6 million
there probably are 50,000 cases of flu anytime (1% only)
this means
that there are 29,000 walking H1n1 people around

This is fucking serious.

Eh come on leh..don't anyhow scare people la. Higher probability of kena h1n1doesn't mean confirm will kena right...say as if people no nid to go to sch or work.

I caught something cough, cough, must have been from that guy coughing in the bus.

Whether or not it is H1N1, I'll never know since I'm not prepared to pay $$$ for the tests to find out. Even if it is H1N1, I still have to get on with life & do my business right

THE Ministry of Health is setting aside $10 million for research into H1N1 influenza so that Singapore can be more prepared for a second wave of outbreak.
