US Presidential Election System

Although Obama has garnered a higher number of electoral votes, the actual number of people voting for McCain is not far behind him. Is this a fair system considering that the 48% who voted for McCain(as of 1200 hrs +08:00 GMT) would have no say taking into account the Democrats would be ruling the Senate and House?

Maybe the US should adopt Singapore's Presidential COE system (Certificate of Eligibility). Have him declared 'unsuitable' a la Andrew Kuan.

LKY had subtly hinted of this when he said 'Obama was a flash in the pan and wouldn't have the experience to lead America'. These yanks just never learn, and where the fuck is Carl Rove?

in this modern day, age is no longer the measure for wisdom/ knowledge/ calibre. if only old age of a sage is cut up for leadership, then roaches should rule the world, considering there're the only creatures that survived extinction, and continue to adapt & breed well.

every man has his own strength & weakness, it doesn't mean that he's in this 40's means he's gonna do lesser of a job than that of an old man.

flip the pages back in history books, LKY was in fact younger than Obama when he took the reigns of this island.
