Illustrates my point exactly. Nobody is able to compose a coherent response based upon facts and figures because all I'm doing is providing actual data which reveals that masks don't work.
Thanks to the "facemasks not required" policies in Florida it has seen far lower infection rates compared to masked states like California.
This proves that face masks actually cause more infections.

Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis extends order banning local mask mandates

Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis has pushed through a measure banning local cities from enforcing mask mandates amid sky-high statewide coronavirus infection rates, according to a report Wednesday.
The measure, which extends an executive order DeSantis signed in September, prevents local governments from fining folks who fail to mask up — and from ordering restaurants to close without public health or economic data to justify the move, according to clickorlando.com.
The order signals the Sunshine State’s move into “phase 3” of the pandemic — meaning restaurants, bars and salons will be allowed to reopen at full capacity, the outlet reported.
Florida’s relaxed enforcement plan comes as a second wave of COVID-19 slams the US, bringing the total number of deaths to more than 260,000 nationally — and prompting other states to add stricter safety regulations.
It also comes after a Florida mayor shut down a bar in his county over the weekend after it was flooded by swarms of maskless partygoers upon reopening for the first time since the pandemic began. Photos show unprotected patrons packed shoulder to shoulder inside The Wharf Fort Lauderdale.
On Wednesday, DeSantis released a video announcing vaccine breakthroughs — but didn’t comment on why he had extended the mask enforcement ban.
“In recent days we’ve seen more breakthroughs in the fight of COVID-19,” he said in a video. “If we can redouble our efforts until the vaccine is deployed, we’ll help safeguard the lives of thousands of Floridians.”
On Tuesday, Florida health officials reported 8,555 new COVID-19 cases and 72 deaths due to the illness.
More than 953,300 infections have been reported in the state in total and at least 18,157 deaths, according to Johns Hopkins University data Wednesday afternoon.

Broward mayor warns businesses must enforce face mask use or face consequences
FORT LAUDERDALE, Fla. – Newly elected Broward County Mayor Steve Geller is among the mayors in South Florida who have asked Gov. Ron DeSantis to enforce a universal mask mandate and to allow local governments to issue penalties to those who violate it.
Geller said Tuesday that his first order of business on Nov. 17 was to ask DeSantis to help make “meaningful enforcement action” available against Broward County residents “who are flouting societal norms and endangering their neighbors.”
DeSantis said on Monday that he won’t support a universal face mask mandate or another lockdown during the coronavirus pandemic. He had already suspended the collection of fines and penalties associated with COVID-19.
Geller and other mayors in South Florida have said they are going to use their power to regulate businesses to ask business owners to enforce the use of face masks in their establishments or face citations and the possibility of an order to close.
“It is unclear how one can be considered pro-business without being in favor of mandatory mask-wearing,” Geller said. “If we don’t have a statewide order mandating mask-wearing, I fear that a broad business shutdown may soon become necessary.”
Geller is scheduled to talk to the Broward League of Cities on Thursday and to Broward County’s 31 mayors on Friday. He said his focus is on enforcement.
“We’re fighting a war now. We’re fighting a war against the pandemic,” Geller said. “Do you want to be patriotic? Do your patriotic duty, wear your mask.”

Re: Ongoing COVID-19 Crisis; Facial Covering Mandate
Dear Governor DeSantis,I hope this letter finds you and your family well during these uniquely difficult times. I write toyou as Broward County Mayor, having begun my term as Mayor earlier today. I welcome the opportunity to work with you, your administration, and all state officials in achieving our sharedgoal of protecting the health, safety, and welfare of our residents and visitors.
As we all know, according to the established metrics, the spread of COVID-19 in Florida(including in Broward County) is once again surging. This is also true virtually everywhere inthe United States and in many parts of the world. Juxtaposed against this troubling backdrop isthe promising news on the vaccine development front.
While the timing remains uncertain, there is reason for optimism that effective vaccines will be available to many, if not most, people inthe United States during the first half of 2021.This letter addresses action I believe is critical between now (when virus spread is again surging)and then (when effective vaccines will become widely available).
During this interim period, it is essential that we preserve medical and hospital resources (including ICU beds) to ensure we have what we need to protect the many people who may become infected by COVID-19 during this dangerous time as well as for all others needing access to medical and hospital care for reasons unrelated to COVID-19.
There appear to be only two ways to fight the epidemic until vaccines arrive: business shut downs or wearing a facial covering (mask). We both want to avoid shutting down businesses if we can. The only way to secure public safety while not closing businesses is to mandate the wearing of masks. Masks protect not only the wearer but also those in close proximity to the wearer.
beyond the benefit masks provide in terms of limiting disease spread, compliance with mask mandates creates the welcome appearance of greater safety, which in itself may encourage individuals to engage in additional commerce in those settings they believe are safe. Simply stated, at this point in the crisis, and with the science now being largely settled, it is unclear how one can be considered pro business without being in favor of mandatory mask wearing. For this reason, I ask you to strongly consider entering a statewide order mandating mask wearing
when outside one’s home except under the limited circumstances when wearing one is
not possible.
If we don’t have a statewide order mandating mask wearing,
I fear that a broad business shutdown may soon become necessary. While such a statewide order would, in my opinion, provide the greatest benefit, if you arer eluctant to enter such an order, I ask that you please consider rescinding Section 4 of Executive Order Number 20-
244. While Section 4 merely “suspends the collection of fines and penalties associated with COVID-
19 enforced upon individuals,” it is being widely misinterpreted as preventing local governments from requiring mask wearing. Based on our continuing discussions with local business leaders, Section 4 makes it more difficult for businesses to insist on compliance with local mask mandates, which creates greater risk not only of disease-spread events but that the businesses themselves may be cited for noncompliance. I hope and trust you share my view that meaningful enforcement action should be available against people who are flouting societal norms and endangering their neighbors and community by not wearing masks, as opposed to closing businesses that are trying to obey the law and operate safely. I would welcome the opportunity to discuss with you the requested statewide mask mandate or any other issue (COVID-19 related or otherwise). I thank you in advance for your consideration of this issue, and look forward to working with you in furthering our shared interest in protecting health and safety without unduly hampering critical economic activity.
Sincerely,Steve GellerBroward County Mayorc: Shane Strum,
Governor’s
Chief of Staff
The data does not lie. At best masks make no difference. At worst they increase infection rates which is what the many data comparisons show.

Restaurant in Florida gets massive praise for ‘face diapers not required’ policy
by Calvin Frank
(Virtue) - A Restaurant in Florida is getting a lot of praise for notifying its customers that “face baby diapers” aren't needed to eat there.
In Springtime Hill, Hernando Area, Beckyjack's Food Shack posted a picture to Facebook Sunday of the sign taped to its window.
“Face diapers not required,” it read. “Everyone welcome.”
“Howdy Folks! Happy Valentine's Day,” announced the caption on the post. “A friendly reminder that we DO NOT require Face Masks.”
“We did a post just trying to be proactive letting everybody know what the mask requirement is or isn't at Beckyjack's because some people were coming in they were surprised that we weren't wearing masks,” said owner Jesse Fox in an interview with WFLA.
As quickly as the picture began obtaining responses, the restaurant shared another post on Facebook, notifying its patrons that it will regularly “make every effort to be clear.”.
Since posting, the image has acquired over 1,700 responses, 2,000 comments and 373 shares.
“Yes we do not require facemasks and yes we think of them as diapers,” the restaurant's Facebook page stated in the post. “We strive to be transparent. And to our friends… Unfriend us now because being our friend will hurt you.”
“We're getting a ton of feedback, both positive and negative,” Fox said. “I don't feel like I am going against the grain. I feel like I'm using common sense.”
