US banks profits are all phony.
Borrowing $ at 0% and lending it out sure profitable.
Savers are being screwed cos this is leading to massive inflation.

This affects Sporeans cos our currency & interest rates is somehow linked to the USD.
Look at our interest earned on the savings account: almost 0%.

I can't help feel that the global economy system is a little screwed up. We are not rewarding the hardworking people anymore. I am not red-eyed because the employees of banks or financial institutions are making a lot of money. Well, I think they deserved to be well-compensated if they really contribute to the banks and the overall well-being of the economy. They should be rewarded but not the obscene amount that we are seeing. It's a unbalanced. Why can a banker earn millions when most of the time, they don't produce anything tangible, a lot of the so-called products that they generated are things with values on paper? The real contributors to the economy are people who produce "brick and mortar". Farmers who work hard so that we have something to eat. Workers in factories producing goods that the bankers used.

You forgot to mention, politicians producing dreams, in which the people are working their head off & contributing to them, and getting the lowest form of returns...

Dreams, like "Swiss standard of living"..."more GOod years"...which produces maximum monetary deposits & pay minisucle returns, thus making kings out of the dream makers...
